The Durham FVMs live and serve in ministries fostered by Immaculate Conception parish, a vibrant and diverse Franciscan parish in Durham. Their motto is “From our worship to our world, in the spirit of St. Francis, Immaculate Conception will be a grateful and giving parish, making a difference in the lives of others by living the love of God.” The ministries include: youth ministry, religious education, Hispanic and immigrant ministries, community organizing with Durham CAN, parish ministries, furniture ministry, community outreach and advocacy, hospital ministry, and the parish’s Immaculata School.
